Was never favorably impressed with the Bryant Thermostat that came with the new home. Last home had a Honeywell that I selected for the (basic) features in the early 90s and liked it. Fast forward, was looking at new ones and noticed the extensive features in the X8S (which are best found reading the installation and user manual). One feature is the connection to a video doorbell. After research decided on the Honeywell Resideo over the Ring doorbell. I absolutely love the combination; the quality, looks, feel and ease of configuring online. The idle display is elegant and informative, video doorbell display is great and controls easy to use. So happy that I just ordered two more for the rest of the house. Great company that I have come back to many times over the years. Yes, I do recommend this product.
This is a great thermostat. I bought this after a referral from a co worker and it has exceeded my expectations. I had a nest before and the programming and app on this is far superior
