Smoke alarms from USI electric

I had 6 smoke alarms in my house that were 14 years old and they all connect with each other. I had one that did not quit chirping once I put a new battery in it. I did online research and found out if the alarms are too old you would have to replace them. After more research, and worrying about finding new alarms that would be compatible with my existing alarm base, I found USI Electric. They had a new alarm that would hook up with my old bases perfectly. Changed all the alarms in about 15 minutes! Very satisfied!!!

Hard wired smoke detector replacement

I looked for one at Lowes & Home Depot, neither had the one I needed, they actually told me I would have to replace all of them with another brand. I got online, found the exact one I needed. Ordered it, it arrived in 3 days!!! Perfect!!!

SMOKE DETECTOR REPLACEMENT

This was an exact replacement for detectors that were 18 years old. Just unplugged the old and then plugged in new. No rewiring needed. Didn't know smoke detectors need to be replaced after 10 years. Started going off same time every day I guess as warning going bad. Hear about yearly battery replacement, but not about smoke detector needing to be replaced. Had Fire Dept here to check out and they didn't ask about age of detectors. Maybe they don't know. Ordering and receiving merchandise was prompt.

Good products but deceiving shipping offer

The alarms fit our existing installations so they are easy to replace. The free shipping offer was not clear that it didn't apply to some locations and I was disappointed to find that it was not applied to my order.

A replacement for an older model. Worked well

I had a couple of these that failed. This model was the exact replacement and it fit well with the older mounting system. Everything was explained in the instructions and I was able to replace the older units without any problem. So far these replacement units are working great!
