Got 2 of these lights as my wife is deaf in her rt. ear and has very limited hearing in lt. ear. She can not hear alarms going off so put one in bedroom and the other in dining room, kitchen area as they are connected. Very bright flashes and will get your attention. Would recommend.
These are great to have in INCAs ADA apartments it allows the hearing impaired to be able to visually detect that there is smoke and/or carbon monoxide in their apartment.

I reviewed the hearing impaired smart strobe lights that were available and selected this one.I installed it and am very, very pleased with its operation.
Unit was easy to install and works well. The green LED power light is somewhat bothersome in a dark bedroom.
The buying experience was good. And the shipping was very fast. I needed to return my item because it wasnt the good one and even on this process they are good. I recommend highly the company!

Check your User's Manual or the nameplate on the back of the alarm. Different smoke detectors & CO alarms use different kinds of batteries - 9V, AA, AAA - it all depends on the particular model you have. Use quality batteries like lithium batteries - having plenty of power is worth any extra cost. Never use rechargeable batteries because they may not always provide a consistent charge.
