Product FAQs
A MERV 8 (Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value) rating is the industry standard for reliable residential filtration. These filters are designed to capture a high percentage of common household airborne particles and allergens, including:
- Household dust and lint
- Pollen and mold spores
- Dust mite debris
- Pet dander
Each individual filter is designed to provide effective filtration for up to 3 months. This 4 pack is intended to supply a typical household with one full year of air filtration. If you have pets or live in a particularly dusty environment, it is good practice to check the filter every 30 days and replace it sooner if it appears heavily loaded.
Yes. These filters are electrostatically charged. This means the fibers act like a magnet to pull in and trap smaller particles that might otherwise pass through a standard fiberglass filter. Additionally, they are constructed with a heavy-duty frame to prevent the filter from bending or collapsing under the pressure of the air handler.
