Customer Reviews For The Battery-Operated Carbon Monoxide Alarm with Backlit Digital Display

A battery powered carbon monoxide alarm operates completely independently of household electrical wiring and wall outlets. This allows complete freedom to mount the carbon monoxide detector at any height on walls or ceilings, making it ideal for locations without nearby power sockets or during extended electrical power grid blackouts.

The backlit digital display on this alarm shows real time parts per million carbon monoxide concentrations. The screen also features peak level memory to record and display the highest concentration of carbon monoxide detected.

This carbon monoxide detector is powered by standard alkaline batteries housed in an easy access front loading compartment. This design lets you replace the batteries quickly without removing the entire carbon monoxide detector unit from its wall mount.

Mount a battery operated carbon monoxide detector on every level of your home, especially inside or directly outside all sleeping quarters. Since carbon monoxide mixes freely with ambient air, positioning the detector at eye level on a wall near bedrooms allows for convenient monitoring of the digital screen while ensuring early danger warnings.

The First Alert CO3-B01D carbon monoxide detector includes built in end of life warning features. When the internal electrochemical sensor reaches the end of its useful service life, the device sounds an audible chirp signal and displays an end of life notification to alert you that it is time for a replacement unit.
