As a retired firefighter I was happy to find this product in a review from Consumer Reports. These units cover the major concerns of every home owner. And finding that they are less expensive from the manufacturer than from Amazon was an extra plus. I received them in a timely manner.

Easy to install. Pull tab to activate is convenient. Purchased because this is one of the few 3 in 1 alarms available photoelectric for smoldering fires, ionization for flaming fires, and carbon monoxide, and it was recommended by Consumer Reports.

Easy to install over existing mounting holes from my old smoke detectors. This had good directions. I like that it includes CO detection and both photoelectric and ionization fire detectors.

The USI Hallway 3 in 1 detector gives me piece of mind. The ten year battery makes it so I don't have to worry about dead batteries. I'm thinking I'm going to buy two more more our summer cottage.
