Customer Reviews For The Honeywell Ultra Comfort Cool Mist Humidifier, White

Picked this model of Honeywell Humidifier last week. It’s winter & the weather here in Hawai’i has been unstable with the cold, dry nights. Then came the vog, which complicated things even more. Ended up with allergies and cough from the voggy unhealthy air. This humidifier was the trick to stabilizing the air and helping to ease the cough. Can’t believe I didn’t think of getting this sooner.
These humidifiers help my family sleep in northern NM, where the humidity is <15%. The essential oil tray is excellent for getting into essential oils. I recommend lavender and chamomile. Cleaning the humidifiers is important and should be done whenever the tank smells off. If you wait up with a sore throat, you are way behind schedule on cleaning the humidifier.
Product FAQs
No. The HUL545W is a filter-free ultrasonic humidifier. It uses a built-in nebulizer that vibrates at high frequencies to create a fine, visible cool mist, eliminating the need for ongoing filter purchases.
Yes. This unit features a dedicated Essential Oil Tray on the side of the base. You can add a few drops of your favorite essential oils to the tray pad to add a pleasant scent to the mist. To prevent damage to the unit and voiding the warranty, you should never add essential oils or liquid inhalants directly into the water tank or the base reservoir.
The top of the humidifier is equipped with a 90° dual directional mist outlet. This allow you to split the mist into two directions or rotate the outlets to aim the moisture exactly where you need it most. Directing the mist away from the air intake vent also helps reduce the ingestion of "white dust" into the motor.
The HUL545 has a 1 gallon tank capacity. On its lowest setting, it can provide up to 36 hours of continuous, ultra-quiet operation. For safety and peace of mind, the unit will automatically shut off once the tank is empty.
