I have never had an air purifier before, so I cannot compare to other models. But, this one is quiet enough that I can sleep with it on. I also have a very quiet air conditioner in my room, and that is louder. The device it fairly attractive and unobtrusive. I love the colorful symbols that light up to identify which mode it is on. They are large and easy to see. You can also turn off these lights, so they aren't annoying. Would recommend.

This air purifier is so quiet you hardly know its there. We are sleeping and breathing better with pure air. I liked it so much I bought one for my mother who suffers with allergies.

This is our third Honeywell purifier. We live by the forest fires and this purifier was an absolute must -- kept the air clear in the house and is not too loud!
