The Smart Electric 400 4-Level Smart Dimmer Bulb steps down from 100-watts to 25-watts. This Smart Bulb is ideal for use in a bedroom, living room, or in any table lamp where you want the right amount of light at the right time. No need for an expensive table lamp dimmer. This incandescent bulb has a shatter resistant coating and can be used in any standard base socket. Traditional 3-way bulbs can only be used in special 3-way sockets. They have two filaments and one seems to burn-out before the other and you are left with a one-way bulb and a 3-way cost. This Smart Bulb 4-Level Dimmer has one filament and can be used in our standard base socket. The Smart Bulb's innovative design has a computer chip in the base that controls the light and contains patented Soft Start technology that eliminates the electrical shock to the filament which over time burns out normal bulbs.
