Honeywell Home Wired Door Chime Contractor Kit Product Description
The Honeywell RCW110KB is an all-in-one package wired chime system for your home. This set includes a two tune door chime, two lighted push buttons and one transformer. All of this allows for a versatile doorbell that can be used on the front door, back door or any other entranceway of your choosing. The Honeywell Door Chime Contractor Kit comes equipped with two pre-programmed chime tunes that can be assigned to separate doorbells. This allows you to know which chime has been triggered and how to react accordingly. For new construction or a complete replacement of your existing system, the RCW110KB door chime kit has everything you need in a single and convenient package.
Can I use this to replace my existing doorbell?
Yes. This kit is an ideal solution for replacing an aging or broken wired system. The included 16V 10VA transformer is a standard size that can replace most existing doorbell transformers mounted to junction boxes.
Does this kit include the bell wire?
No. While the kit includes the chime, buttons, and transformer, you will need to purchase the bell wire separately, as the length required depends on your specific home layout.
Are the push buttons lighted?
Yes. The kit comes with two illuminated push buttons, making them easy for guests to find in the dark and adding a premium look to your entryways.
How do I know which door someone is at?
The chime is pre-programmed with two different sounds. By wiring the front door to one terminal and the back door to another, the chime will play a different tune for each, allowing for instant identification.
